Think carefully before returning an item to Argos. Returned an item as of poor quality. Told couldn't return as was "used" so I asked how you know whether item is ok is to test it. Therefore must open and try? So effectively they can sell poor quality products and hide behind spurious returns policy.

Ordered a smart watch online and when I picked it up I thought nothing of it until I got into the car outside. I noticed that the seal said argos opened and checked so I decided to check the contents before I drove away. Good job I did as the watch wasn't new at all and had been used. When I say used I don't mean tried on it had been worn for a long period of time as the leather was starting to crack where it had been clearly worn for a long time. I went back inside to ask for another one but that was the only one. I was angry as they tried to insult my intelligence saying g its only been opened and checked. I have many watches and none of which have the wear I could see on this watch. Passing off second hand goods (ARGOS) is disgusting and unacceptable especially during g these difficult times. Very poor and angry as a big customer of argos up until now

Bought a vr headset for son which he did not want. The item is unused and in original box with all tags on the very young store manager Dylan checked each item within the box but then told me he couldn't refund as it should have a cellophane wrapping on the box. The item didn't have a cellophane wrapping when it got delivered but he refused to accept the return. Very poor customer service on Dylans part and I suspect it has more to do with their end of day targets and he didn't want a return on his figures.

Would just like to say a big thank you to a lady called sue at argos. She help with my problem very quickly and politely on the 3rd time of calling down. The two times I did call down with the problem I was spoken to very rudely and was no help at all by a man called Simon which I later found out was the manager. But I have my fridge freezer now thanks to sue. so thank you again for your help in sorting the problem out straight away
