Tried to apply for parking permit. Was told that the building I live in doesn't have parking permits. And was offered to pay 620 for visitor permit. Sounds like I'm visiting my home. Why do I need permission to park outside my home? Just because council is privatised streets and marked it with signs to pay Monday to Sunday 8am-8pm. For small town like Halifax? Council gets all money in their pockets for really doing nothing. Streets are dirty , parking charges extended. You go to shop ,pay parking ,you go to hospital pay parking. Why do people pay council tax bills then? Which I contacted Halifax council about why I pay for band A 140 a month when my mate pays 160 for band C ? And they answered that they don't know why is that. Which says council collects money for not knowing why and for what. Shameful. And really not helpful for people.

Absolutely rubbish service. I been waiting for 3 hours,but no one answers me. Please I request to government to take some action against them

Issue quickly resolved over the phone , phone operator's quick and efficient very helpful online could be improved but all in all 5 out of 5 .
