Andrew Ducksbury - Excel Mortgage Services Ltd

Andrew was recommended to me by a family friend who is an independent financial adviser and regularly refers his own clients to Andrew for mortgage-related issues. In turn I now have no reservations at all in recommending him myself - using Andrew was easily one of the best decisions we made in the whole process of buying our house. We had not taken out a mortgage before and our application was complicated by the fact I was buying a listed building with a non-standard construction. Indeed, there were several lenders who had refused us a mortgage simply on the nature of the property. Not a problem for Andrew, and consequently not a problem for us! Andrew's fees are low and money very well spent as he was able to find a much more competitive mortgage than we could ourselves. He handled everything mortgage-related from start to finish, even bringing a scanner when he visited to save us from having to copy documents for him. Andrew even arranged the property insurance for us on the day we exchanged - again finding very competitive quotes. Even now the mortgage is arranged, it is good to know that he will be watching it, ready to alert us and arrange a new policy once the fixed term ends. The experiences I had with the seller's estate agents, solicitors (our and theirs), and even our removals were not exactly great, but I have nothing negative to say about Andrew. I wouldn't so much recommend him to my friends as *implore* them to use him.

Andrew was very professional and helpful with my mortgage application. It was my first time of applying a mortgage. He explained every details of the mortgage process. I was amazed by the mortgage application report he wrote for me after the first appointment. The led to my immediate decision to let him help me with the whole process. He is always pre-active answering the emails with excellent time management. I can't recommend him more if you need a professional, helpful mortgage advisor with efficient time management skills. The most important is he found me a great deal and saved me a lot money!
