I just wanted to say THANK YOU! My husband and I are in the very early stages of researching adoption and I stumbled across your website having purchased The Teachers Guide to Attachment. I have just watched the three webvideos about attachment in schools and they were fantastic! As a teacher of nine years myself I am ashamed to say that my understanding of attachment and trauma in children has been pitiful at best. I have always been supportive of the adopted/LAC children in my care, but having begun this research I see that my support really hasn't lived up to the standard that these children need. The work you are doing is invaluable, so please keep it up!

Excellent knowledge on trauma and attachment. It's really helped a little boy who I started working with at age 5. He wasn't able to sit still, had no conversation, no listening skills or social skills. Whilst working with him, his school and his parents, we've all followed the same process and achieved amazing results. He's now 6 and gradually listening, is at last able to take instruction and is able to socialise in and out of school. He's now playing with, instead of playing alongside his peers and his anger rarely shows itself but it was evident 70 to 75 percent of his day previously. Thank you braveheart.
