The fruit deli

Great fruit and veg shop. Very friendly helpful staff. Produce always looks fresh and beautifully displayed.

I used to love going to this shop when I was younger, on a Saturday I used to go out with my friend to do a bit of shopping with her as young teenagers, getting a few things for my mom if she called me or tell me before I left to go to Halesowen. The owner always watched us and stalked us, was she thinking that we would steal anything from the store no, we were raised to never steal or disrespectful to anyone. She followed us to the till even though I payed. This when I was 13 to 16 years old. I am 37 now and a few weeks back my dad had an eye test in Asda as he is diabetic and needed to go there for it, so me and my mom looked at the fruit at the front of the fruit deli and thought why not, it's been a few years before COVID we came back, so we went into the shop and wel the owner stalked me and my mom all the way and followed us both while we put the things we wanted in the basket. At the till we watched her go past us and at the front of the store, she was stil stalking and watching us. I have autism and this really made me feel uncomfortable. The lad who was at the till was very sweet and after we payed for our thing the lady still watching us. How do you well why would you thing a 79 year old and her daughter 37 would steal anything from you? I was raised to respect others and their property and never steal. You creeped me out and my mother aswel.

Always a great selection and always well displayed. Reminds me of how the fruit shops were when l was young. Am never disappointednever when l get to eat it!

Good traditional greengrocers, with fresh produce you can select for yourself. Most items sold "loose" so no wasted packaging, and you can choose as many, or as few, as you need. Highly recommended.
