The Barn

The B&B is located on a lovely country road, just 5 minutes from the bus to town and close to the airport. The room was self serving, very comfortable and clean. The host Gary and Jenny really went above and beyond for us during our stay here, collecting us from the airport, showing us around the village, recommending things to do and just generally being so helpful. We will definitely stay here again whenever we're back.

Rooms: Large room with more than everything we needed on hand, very clean and a great shower! Nearby activities: Aintree festival and Liverpool central. Safety: The hosts. Walkability: Very cosy in a lovely quite area, the village of hale was only a short drive away. Food & drinks: Continental breakfast available in the room with a fair selection and fresh milk, Orange juice and bottles of water. Noteworthy details: An amazing place to stay! Id be lying to say Ive stopped at every B&B/hotel in and around Liverpool to say its the best but I think youd have a hard task trying to find somewhere better! Myself and my partner booked for two nights last minute and unsure of what to expect we arrived with such a warm welcome from Gary and Jen. The rooms were more than big enough with a lovely bathroom and selection of snacks and refreshments! The room was perfect temperature and easily adjustable. What made the stay was the hosts, they kindly offered us lifts to and from locations and always made sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond and we will definitely be back soon!

The b&b was a lovely stay especially due to the owner, who was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are so well decorated and the beds are super comfy. I definetly recommend this B&B
