After one year of being told about just a basket stopping a drop of 20 feet to the basement they have done nothing! I was in there tonight and noted the same problem. I checked their reviews and was shocked to find the same complaint from a year ago !!!

I go here all the time to send off and collect parcels, I buy a lot of sweet treats for my cousin's and nieces as they love pick n mix etc. However one man always questions me on what time I collect parcels or what times I drop them off and told I shouldn't bother dropping them off in future at this time - even though it would be the only time I would be able to drop them off due to work etc. I explain this but still get the attitude. I went there to collect a parcel from there recently and wanted to grab some sweets for the kids, however I was told I couldn't have possibly counted them correctly and the man started prodding in the bag, ripping it in the process, then proceeded to empty the entire bag, touching every sweet in there counting as he went. Not wanting to have the kids sweets touched by somebody who handles change all day I said I don't want them anymorr. He then continued counting them, and finally took two sweets out (which were labelled as 5p each) and told me they were 20p each and that I had lied about the total amount because they were 20p not 5p each. He repeated "you lied and that's not right" when I hadn't done, I had just added things up according to how they were labelled. I tried to explain that these two sweets were labelled as 5p but he just said "you LIED" so I ended up not wanting to buy any of the items I had put on the counter, due to this embarrassment and waste of time and left feeling absolutely insulted. It's really not about the money, it's the awful way he made me feel, and there were customers behind me who were stood in shock. This is one of my local shops and I always want to support my local businesses, however I just felt this needed to be addressed. The lady here is always lovely and the younger gentleman I've never had problems with or situations where I've felt as insulted or awful about. It really wasn't nice whatsoever. I know it was only about sweets, but I felt absolutely terrible afterwards.
