Unique Windows (IOW) Limited

Unique supplied a window and external door for our extension during 2014. Both items were fitted by a builder from Ventnor. The window will not now open, creating ventilation issues and the handles for the door have not stood up to use. When we contacted Unique to ask for the window to be repaired we were told that the ten year guarantee does not apply if Unique do not fit the item themselves, so they would only repair if we paid for it. The owner, who we spoke to, was quite aggressive about the matter and in the end sent an engineer to see the fault but who confirmed they would not put it right without payment. We have probably 12 or more DG items in several buildings, one of which dates from 1902, and had no problem with any of them. So we are disappointed with both the product quality and the service response.

Very happy from start to finish. All the staff are very professional and helpful. The quality of the product and the fit were great. Area left clean and tidy after completion. Highly recommend it.
