Used for a valuation for the sale of our property in Altrincham in summer 2022. The valuation was incredibly hyperinflated compared to all the other agencies we sought valuations from (we got 7 in total, so we had a good idea of the value, and Jordan Fishwick Hale were outliers by a significant amount). In addition to this, the sales team peppered us with emails and phonecalls after our valuation to persuade us to use them, and also sent letters to our home incessantly over the period our house was listed with another agency. The whole sales tactic felt incredibly aggressive and overly ambitious. I wouldn't consider listing with them unless they changed their approach as it was all a bit much.

I'm getting divorced. My wife is in occupation of the former matrimonial home. The house is in my sole name. Thus, I own the house 100%. I instructed Jordan Fishwick to sell the property. I alone signed the Jordan Fishwick contract regarding their T & Cs concerning the sale. Thus, I alone was Jordan Fishwick's client and my wife had nothing at all to do with the sale except be receptive to viewings. Jordan Fishwick have been the sole estate agent for quite some time. Recently, my soon to be ex wife and I discussed dropping the price to encourage the sale as viewings had dried up. However, nothing was agreed and we certainly did not discuss the amount I would drop the price by. Therefore, it was a shock to me to receive a Rightmove alert which stated my property had been reduced in price by a significant amount - we are talking 6 figures. My wife had contacted Jordan Fishwick behind my back and instructed them to reduce the price of my house. My wife wishes to leave the property as she is responsible for the running costs. Jordan Fishwick had acted on her instructions and did not have the professionalism or courtesy to make a simple phone to me, their client, to check with me, this was indeed what I wanted to happen. My advice would be to avoid this estate agency. I have switched to what I believe is a more professional firm.
