We have ordered from Silantro before on Uber Eats, many times, and to begin with the service was excellent and the food was so tasty. It became a weekly treat to order from Silantro. But this weekend I ordered some food, after over an hour it hadn't arrived yet, l understood they might be busy because of lockdown etc, so I rang them and politely asked where my order was. They said it was on the way and should be here soon. Another 40 minutes pass, (in which I call and text and get absolutely no answer) and still nothing, I try again, and eventually the same lady I spoke to says the food left the restaurant 10 minutes ago, but they had also said that it was on the way 40 minutes before, so they were clearly not being honest. I asked if I could contact the driver directly, because it was getting ridiculous, they said they tried contacting the driver but he wasn't responding, but they'd call me back once he did. I wasn't sure whether to cook or not because I didn't know whether my food would actually come. I didn't hear back from them at all and went on the Uber Eats app to see the order was cancelled over 2 hours later. I didn't get charged, but that uisn't the point, the point is you order food for it to actually be delivered and not for people to lie to you. I ended up cooking and eating about 3 hours later, why bother being on a delivery app if you can't deliver? Their catering may be good, but don't bother ordering from Uber Eats.

Visited Silantro with family after our civil wedding and was really impressed. Lovely decor and great food. The dynamite shrimp and hakka noodles are a must. Portion sizes are quite small however, i highly recommend and will definitely visit again
