Whilst the staff seem lovely, we have been passed from nurse to nurse rarely seeing the same person twice. They failed to diagnose elbow dysplasia within our dog and when we first flagged the limp at 6 months old, and in monthly puppy checks thereafter we were fobbed off numerous times being told it was "growing pains". Despite being fobbed off it was noted on the dogs record that there was a potential elbow issue. If this was noted by staff why did they not: 1. communicate this with us, and 2. advise to book in with a vet, rather than telling us it was "fine" and that our dog seemed to be healthy with no concerns. We have since registered our dog with Horsebridge vets and the vet took one look at our dog and said she was displaying all the signs for elbow dysplasia, rushed x-rays and referrals to a specialist for treatment and that it was shocking that Highcroft had missed this for over a year of puppy checks and appointments. As a result of their lack of communication, we changed our insurance policy completely oblivious to the notes on her file and are now looking at 7,000 worth of fees for operations and treatment which our insurers have declined. A CT Scan today at Fitzpatrick Referrals has confirmed that there is elbow dysplasia including fragments of bone that has come away from the joint, which is likely to have happened months ago, potentially even when we were told it was "growing pains". Our poor pup is now away from home having to have surgery which could have been picked up earlier down the line but was missed due to being fobbed off. When raising all of this with Highcroft, we were politely told that it was not their problem, and quite frankly their attitude showed that they didn't care in the slightest that a dog has been suffering since being a puppy as a result of their incompetence, not to mention our bank accounts as a result of their poor communication skills!

Highcroft Vets are such remarkable team. All my pets are treated so well & are know by the staff. All treatment is of high standard but it is the care before, during & after that gave me great relief & comfort. Phone updates were given & my dogs recovery was ensured. Thank you to all the staff at Highcroft.

Such friendly staff and nice clean premises. Not had a bad experience so far and my dog is always so excited to go there, he drags me through the door!
