Dan Humphreys

I have been fortunate enough to have had lessons with Dan for the last few years which has helped me immensely towards achieving places at music conservatoire. Dan is a great teacher, amazing bass player and a lovely person, I couldnt recommend him enough!

My Son has been having guitar lessons with Dan for a year.. we have done both online and in person lessons.. I have always been impressed with the passion he has for music.. it makes me want to start playing guitar.....I have seen great improvement even through lockdown. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone wanting to learn guitar or bass.

Dan has been a tremendous influence on my musical life for many years now contributing to projects all over the world and recently collaborating on remote projects to keep ourselves busy whilst we cant play as a live group. As a musician he plays with exactly the right balance of virtuosity and stability and as a teacher displays patience and understanding whilst working with all players from beginners up to seasoned professionals who just fancy a top up.

Dan is a top class bassist, both in terms of performance and tuition. Im primarily a fellow musician (drummer) who has had the pleasure of playing alongside Dan in a variety of settings, but Ive also had bass lessons from him as I enjoy playing bass on the side! Dans lessons are both informative and enjoyable, touching on all the key elements required to become a rounded musician capable of playing in a variety of musical settings and scenarios. In my situation, Dan has always been mindful of my relationship with the bass, and delivered lessons which suit my intentions, taking into account my prior experience while also being sure to fill in any gaps I had. I cannot recommend Dan highly enough for either service, and can say with confidence that hes one of the best around!
