Callenders Restaurant

We had dinner at Callenders for a work night out and we were not disappointed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was superb. Every one of us had a clean plate at the endnot a crumb was left! We will certainly be going again. Dietary restrictions: We asked in advance about gluten free options and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and explained that almost every dish on the menu could be made gluten free.

Food was delicious, the staff were so welcoming and we had a lovely lunch to finish off our Easter break! Kid-friendliness: They were so accommodating to our two little ones and even made us special off-menu dishes for them!

Unbelievable food! Can't even begin to express how delicious this humble restaurant is. I will genuinely make the trip back to Hailsham just to eat here again. I mean wow!

Visited today with no expectations. We all came out very well fed with the delightful feeling that the food was fresh and cooked properly. Fantastic value for quality food. Excellent atmosphere and super staff. Will definitely be going back .
