Spent a number of afternoons visiting the show site and examining the offerings in detail and decided to go for a 10 x 8 Pent workshop. The construction (with the optional thicker cladding) is heavy and really solid, this is not a 'shed', it is a building! All options thoroughly investigated with the sales staff to my complete satisfaction and an order placed without problems. Be aware that a base (the heavy timber version in my case) has to be paid for up front. Since I chose a light colour of Protek Royal I also required the sealant and a 5 litre can of that arrived within the week! (The coloured paint came with the workshop itself). There was a completely understandable delivery delay due to the timber supply being affected by the Ukrainian situation, and I applaud Skinners decision to not purchase Russian timber. Good and timely communication throughout the process from the office throughout.. The first team of two who installed the base were polite and cheerful despite the foul weather on the day and did a quick, efficient and accurate job, precisely aligning the base with the layout I had prepared. At the end of the same month the workshop installation team of two arrived exactly as planned and went about the job in an equally efficient manner, explaining detail as they went along, and expending considerable effort when raising the roof, which is very solid and very heavy. The whole job was done quickly and entirely to my satisfaction. I still have full protection to apply, as the weather since installation has frankly been foul. If you are considering a building to be worked in (rather than just storage) I don't think that you'll find better, even the (3 inch thick!) door is absolutely impressive, castle portcullis standard! Happy to give 5 stars for a building that will last longer than me...

Great summerhouse. Sturdy and spacious. Perfect corner design for our garden patio. Constructed well by great skinners team. Skinners Hailsham staff were efficient, knowledgeable and courteous.
