        Beautiful setting with lovely views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Modern cabin with well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Lack of WiFi but helps with the 'retreat' idea of the place. Great views of the night sky and managed to see some shooting stars from the Perseid meteor shower on the first night. Herons, bats, robins and wrens spotted so far, along with all the ducks that came back to the lake to roost at night! Brilliant place

        We stayed here in May 2022. The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings and was really peaceful. It had everything we needed for a completely relaxing break and the accommodation was of a high standard. The lake was perfect for relaxing by and just watching the wildlife. We managed to do some fishing and caught Roach, Perch and Bream. We will definitely book to stay here again.
