Like most first time Mums I was nervous about returning to work when my Son turned 6 months. Looking for a nursery during Covid restrictions was also a challenge but Beth the Nursery manager was really helpful, answered all my questions and put my mind at rest. When I visited the site I was impressed by the fun, relaxed environment perfectly balanced with structure and security. The team make a real effort to understand your child, their evolving schedule and development outside of nursery. Laura and the team in the baby room have gone above and beyond since his first day. I love receiving updates of his various activities on the Tapestry App. Hes such a happy, contented little boy whos happy to mix with others- I put so much of this down to his Nursery experience. My Son goes into and comes out of nursery with a big smile - not worrying about him while hes there makes working full time a lot easier :)

I was terrified of sending my son to a nursery. Considering he is a Pandemic baby and wed spent a whole year pretty much alone. Finding a nursery was tricky because of covid restrictions, meaning we couldnt physically go into the nursery to see it and meet all the staff. They combated this by having a virtual tour of the building on their website and all the staff have been so understanding and accommodating. Im so happy to have sent my son to Cottontails Hagley. He hasnt taken too long to settle in at all and has come on leaps and bounds in all areas of his development since attending. He clearly loves going there.

Terrible communication!! I called Beth, the manger of Hagley last week to ask if there was any availability. I was told there was a place for my son on a Monday & Friday starting once I had been for a show round on Friday 6th May at 2:00. I explained to Beth that someone had pipped me to the post at the northfield nursery and there was no availability until September which was the reason I enquired about Hagley. Whilst i respect places are offered on a first come first serve basis, I had confidence in Beth the manager, telling me that she had added my son to the numbers. When I asked if his place was guaranteed, due to being desperate and recently missing out, she reassured me that she had written his name down in the diary for the deputy to see so his place wont be given away. I also mentioned the deposit and she said all the paperwork will be done during the show round. We had considered and planned for the coming weeks, knowing our son was going to be starting nursery. Now to be told theres no place for him has completely left myself and dad stuck for childcare. I also spoke to the accountant who deals with the numbers and places to explained what had happened and felt she didnt care. I didnt receive an apology for what had happened and she didnt rush in getting back to me after making her aware. I have always sang Cotton Tails praises and couldn't recommend the nursery enough for the time my eldest was there, being one of the main reasons I wanted my youngest to follow on. However, now I loose all confidence in the nursery due to the lack of communication and the position we now find ourselves in with no childcare.

I was quite excited going for an interview for a job here. I went through the process of the interview and then I had 2 hours in which I got to know the children and staff. On the interview I was told that there would be a 13 week trial to see what they thought of me and if I was happy. I thought that was fair and they made out that I had got this trial. Everything seemed so perfect and if I wouldn't have been told that I would start a 13 week trial process then I would have been happy not to complain. However I cancelled other interviews and was reading up on the policies and what not as I couldn't wait. I then got told after my 2 hours they would get back to me. I waited yet nothing. Then when I asked again they told me they would get back to me the end of the week. Yet still nothing from last week. I can't fault the staff as they seemed very hard working and lovely. If I would have been told I hadn't got the job then it would have been fine. You left me in limbo. Won't be applying here again.
