Visited BunBunBun at 9:30pm on a Saturday and the website listed a close time of 11pm; plenty of time we thought. However the staff seemed stressed and unhappy. Perhaps just a bad night but they treated us rudely and rushed us through our meal so they could have everyone out and closeup by 10:30pm. They were taking food away as we were still finishing it and basically pushed us out the door so fast they almost didnt take our payment. But unusual vibes aside, what really matters is the food and it was excellent. My bun cha is up there with the tastiest Vietnamese meal Ive ever had. The shared bench style dining is easy going, even if its a little intimate with the strangers next to you. I can see why its busy though I would give them another chance as I really enjoyed the food.
