Cuma Cevik Photography

I joined his photography tours in Iceland and Faroe Islands in July 2022 and it was a trip of a lifetime! :) Cuma was very helpful from the planning stage of my trip to the end of the workshop. He has a genuine personality with a passion of quality photography, so he makes everyone satisfied with their photos and settings at various locations and weather conditions. This was all I needed since Im an amateur photographer. :) I really upped my skill level with his contant patience. At the end of the tour, he even showed us how to edit photos in photoshop. He knows all hidden gems I would have never seen if I tried to visit on my own, hope to join his other workshops next year. I came back home with amazing photos, youll never regret joining any of Cumas trips :)

I've been following Cuma and his wife for years because they take amazing pictures. So I decided to book a workshop with him. He always tried to get the best out of the trip. He recognizes possible mistakes and gives advice based on his own experience about photography. He is very friendly, calm and is very willing to help to make the trip enjoyable.

l asked Cuma to plan a 3-day tour of the countryside for me and my mom. He pulled everything together so quickly, tailored it to what we wanted, and found really special places for us to stay and visit. The first morning he picked us up at Gatwick and drove us to Oxford where we had lunch, explored the university (including Harry Potter locations) and visited a market. We never would have been able to see Oxford as efficiently as we could with him. He knew where to go to see beautiful and interesting things while avoiding the crowds. Actually, he did that every place we visited. The following day we toured Blenheim Palace and a couple of smaller villages in the Cotswolds. On the final day we visited another village (saw a beautiful open air Sunday service) and finished the tour with Sunday roast at a pub in Bath and a walk through the city. Cuma made everything so easy for us. He arranged all the transportation, inns, meals (the organic farm was amazing), and activities. He was flexible and adjusted the schedule when we wanted to spend more time exploring something. He is an extraordinarily talented photographer and took beautiful pictures of me and my mom. I have several I'll treasure forever. But most of all, he was wonderful company. He is an engaging and charming person, kind, patient, and enthusiastic. From the beginning of the trip, I felt like we were traveling with a friend. By the end of the trip, we were.

My husband and I went on a photography trip to The Faroe Islands guided by Cuma and had the best photography experience! We didn't have to spend hours researching where to go or the logistics of getting to picturesque locations, and most importantly with so much hiking and being on the road, we got to take little naps along the way. Cuma brought us to all the most beautiful locations that The Faroe Islands had to offer, without his experience we probably would've missed. Cuma assisted me with camera settings and composition ideas for the best photos. We ended with a workshop where he walked through his storage and editing process. Even as a portrait photographer myself, I learned so much with Cuma. We highly recommend his photography tours and definitely plan to do more tours with Cuma in the future!
