Ive been training with Martyn twice a week for the best part of a year and its been the best change to my routine that I can remember - I look forward to it every time. Ive trained on my own on and off for over 10 years but have never achieved this much progress or consistency before (or avoided injury for this long!). Martyn has a cerebral approach as another reviewer said - hes deeply knowledgeable about his subject and emphasises functional strength, with his own experience across climbing, jiu-jitsu and bodybuilding. Hes an attentive coach and great at giving cues to improve technique as well as explaining why we do things a certain way. Exercises are varied and interesting - far more enjoyable than what I was able to put together on my own - and build on each other towards more difficult movements. All this with greater intensity so that a lot of work gets done in an hour. Im a founder / CEO of a tech company based in Shoreditch and the sessions have become a non-negotiable part of my schedule. However, Martyn makes it easy to reschedule around travel if needed, which is a great help with consistency. Beyond the sessions, he cares about your progress holistically - hes created weekend and holiday programmes for my specific needs, advises on nutrition and recovery and regularly sends interesting content. Hes also great company and interesting to talk to about many topics beyond fitness. All in all I couldnt recommend him more highly!

I can heartily recommend Martyn. He's been training me since April and I always look forward to our sessions. He is knowledgable, professional, and personable, clearly takes pride in his clients and is willing to offer help above and beyond the norm. I have back problems and fully trust him in the realm of physiotherapy as well.

Martyn has been an enormous help in improving my strength and conditioning, diet, flexibility and recovery specifically for Martial arts training and contest preparation. I have made huge progress since we started working together and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to take their training more seriously. My Physio recommended Martyn after a difficult ankle repair (after many years of pain and discomfort) and I was secretly dreading working out with a PT. Previous experiences have left me feeling misunderstood, judged and demotivated but working with Martyn has been brilliant. Not only is he really conscientious, but he is very thoughtful when designing the strength training program to adapt to your body. I like to describe him as a cerebral trainer he pays attention to how Im moving, thinks and connects the dots, listens to what I say post physio and knows just how to push enough to help me to build my confidence and my strength. Im getting stronger, healing faster and am in better condition for trusting Martyn and his process. Confidence in my body and in my abilities also growing week by week. Would like to keep him as my best secret but HIGHLY recommend!
