I had multiple shoots in the past six years where there were issues regarding equipment that went back to JJ after a job and something was magically missing, giving them a reason to charge clients on top. More often than not, these were things that were never actually usedleaving crew members baffled about how and why that would happen. I never had these issues with any other rental in a few hundred productions; somehow, this only happens with JJ. Also, they try to make more money by just adding stuff on the equipment list, that nobody asked for as well as replacing certain things for dumb reasons. They recommend adding something that is either unnecessary or for instance doesn't make sense in the context of where the shoot is happening (for instance, equipment that needs mains power, when the whole kit list is very obviously built on battery kit to be used on location). It can get very tiresome having to send multiple emails back and forth just to get what you actually are asking for, without unnecessary additions or random replacements.

I''ve just finished working at Wimborne on a weeks event. The venue is amazing with so much space! The staff are all super helpful, smiley and on hand throughout for anything you need. Couldn't recommend the venue, Anna, Josh, Ian, Fraser, Norman and the whole team more!
