I used to work across the road from this wonderful newsagent and general store. A visit to see Diptesh Patel and his parents always uplifted my day. This message, written on a whiteboard propped outside the shop one snowy day by Mr Patel senior, then in his late 70s, and photographed by me nine years ago resurfaced in my Facebook 'memories' today! It sums up the spirit and value the Patels bring to their community.
