Horrible dealing with Fabrizio. He was available immediately to get started. I complied with his deposit request of 1600 for a 4.5k job in total. Never saw him on site again. Day 1 only one worker arrived and demolished the old bathroom, we encountered some wetness below the floor. Fabrizio should have revised the quote and then seek acceptance on his new offer. Instead he proceeded to do some additional work without authorisation. I was present and I would estimate the extra days work should be 200-250 max as quoted by others. He rented a humidifier and sent me the receipt for 1 weeks rental for 130. 24 hours after the humidifier arrived it disappeared . He was not on site. I was. He had no clue. I asked for a quote on the additional work. I also demanded that he re do a site visit. He was working remotely entirely & never intending to return not even to check the work. He advised to strip all my floors, hallway and living room. 3200 of labour alone and also extra bathroom work 1430. I almost said yes. I took the opinion of a specialist in leak detection then quickly realised he was trying to take advantage of me. I asked if he would like to stick to the original plan and work on the areas that we agreed. He questioned if I can afford his services. He asked me for more money up front to tune of 2500. He treated my job like it was 2nd class work. Day 4 no workers turned up to the flat. I had paid 1600 upfront. The flat was left with no hot water and incomplete during the whole of Christmas and new year I asked how much of my 1600 deposit he wants to return to me as clearly we no longer wish to work with each other. he took about 10 days to pluck some numbers out of thin air to add up to around 1600 so he doesnt have to pay me back the difference. On his updated estaimate he states demolition of all existing bathroom fixitures and fittings. I have taken images and there is still old fixtures hanging off the wall. He also added cleaning into the estimates. But very little cleaning was done. Bags of pipes and tiles were left behind. The bulky items in my garage. I paid 180 separately to have the rubbish collected by a waste company. I ended up having to stay at a friends home during the holidays, when I came in to check the property his team had sneaked into my flat to collect their tools. This was done without my permission and very unprofessional. I have the right to know when someone is entering my property. I asked Fabrizio to be fair and considered with his estimate of 1600 down to approx 1100 for 3 days of work and as per our quote for that phase of the job. In summary: never more than 1 guy at a time was in the flat , demolishing bath tub, tiles, sink and toilet, laying down some copper pipes on an empty floor and removing a water cylinder and some wet wood. Fabrizio has acted unprofessionally and unlawfully in my opinion. I have kept all records of communication and he should do the right thing and return a portion of my deposit back to settle the situation. I have given Fabrizio numerous opportunities to talk to me and to close this in a fair way but instead he resorts to accusing me of wasting his time.

I hired Aquaviva to replace my bath with a larger one, move the taps, replace broken tiles, and fit a new bath panel. The quote was a little bit higher than some others, but they had very good communication so I trusted them to do a good job. Their worker turned up on time, and was respectful whilst doing the job. The new bath looks great, and I would recommend them to others.
