George provided a clear understanding of his services, initially providing options and ideas in developing our plans and then skilfully guiding us through the various elements of the planning process up to the start of work on the project. Throughout he was readily accessible, was a constant source of information for materials and contractors, ultimately providing us with a thorough package that allowed for effective and accurate costing of the project. We are very happy with the service provided.

George is a good Architect and I had no issues with the quality of his work. We faced some difficult and challenging planning responses, which we ultimately overcame with our second planning application , which was successful. I do however have to add, at times, we did struggle with Georges style of communication and mannerism, which affected our ability to collaboratively work together. We are hands-on clients, and wanted to be involved in the design process and implement our preferences; unfortunately this did cause friction with George and we found the situation needlessly stressful and frustrating at times. We did however get there in the end, it was a long process which perhaps pushed George to his limit.

We contacted several architects for help with designing an extension for our ground floor flat, but George stood out immediately for the amount of detailed advice he offered us right from the outset. We had various questions and he was always really responsive and helpful. When he came round to talk through our plans, he had a very calm and friendly tone. We discussed a few options and he set out how likely he felt each would be to get approval and why, and what could be done to maximise the likelihood of approval in each case without compromising on the key aspects that were most important to us. While the option we chose was ultimately not approved, we always knew it had a lower likelihood of success than the others. Wed wanted to take a punt anyway as that design would have given us the most space, and George had a plan B lined up to submit in the event of a rejection, which Im confident would have been approved. In the end though we decided to move house instead of submitting the revised plans as having our baby sleeping with us in a one bedroom flat was taking its toll, and we just needed more space sooner than the extension would have been finished. All no fault of Georges though, and we can really speak very highly of him - very professional and approachable throughout, quick to deliver the plans and submit them on our behalf, and a real ally in navigating the planning process. Well definitely not hesitate in contacting him again if we want to extend our next property.

George is our architect for our current extension project and he has been extremely knowledgeable and reassuring throughout the entire process so far. Weve been dealing with a tough planning permission process due to constant negative comments from our neighbors on the planning submissions. However, George has always been so efficient in liaising with our council, and fighting our corner to support our application being approved. We recently received our approval and we are over the moon with this news. George was able to advise us well and reassure us any time we had any doubts, or concerns over the comments being made on our application. From the start of the process George has been very efficient and has shown his high attention to detail with our plans. Were looking forward to continuing this project with George and we would highly recommend him.

We approached George for our rear, side and loft extension because of our friend's recommendation. At the time, we met several architect and George turned out to be best - not only his in-depth knowledge of council planners, but also his empathic listening. It approves we are right. In fact, we had a bit issue with planner during the application process - the planner was changing her mind and was asking for a major change near the approval. George acted quickly and fight for our side, he even filed complaint to the senior planner. In the end, we got exactly what we are asking for with no delays. We cannot achieve it without help from George. Actually, before I wrote the review for George, I took a look on the other reviews and would like explain the way we see George and his work. Each council has their own rules in planning permission, it can vary from one planner to the other, but the fundamental cannot be challenged. The architect does not have much impact on the planner, i.e. it is unlikely to have one architect to get council approved for a complicated planning case, while the others cannot. We are in Camden - one of the most strict councils in the London. The first time I met with George, he told me what can be achieved and what the planner does not like straight away. We did come across some architects that gave us the false promise, which cannot be approved by the council. I understood that some home owners may want to push the boundaries, hoping to get more approved. In that case, the result can make them a bit disappointing. Again thank you so much for George's help, we are really happy with our new home!
