A modest and recently planted (1990s) Woodland Trust Wood - give it another 50-100 years! However it links into an older wood, ancient country lanes and pleasant walks by deep streams of the Sussex High Weald.

Would live to see more bins so that we can see less litter everywhere.

Cute little wood, very small on its own but as it's quite out the way it's usually pretty quiet and there's plenty of space for half a dozen cars (when parked properly). The roads around it are so quiet you can easily add a few onto the end of the walk to make it longer. If you follow the footpath through the woods, out the other side and past the farm, you end up back on the county road the car park is on and get a good 50mins/ 1 hr walk. It's a proper farm though so dogs on leads (as they should be) when going past the sheep.
