Adorn Tattoo Studio

This is a long overdue review for a tattoo I had a few years ago so I like to think his craft has improved since then but I really want to let the artist and others know how I feel about it. Before I start I want to say Chris and the service was really nice and friendly, I enjoyed the process and environment. I had put alot of thought into what I wanted for my first Tattoo and put it to Chris and he declined to do it as it was yellow and had his own interpretation of the meaning behind it which he didn't agree with. The meaning behind it was nothing to do with what he thought it was but I respect his opinion and if he didn't feel comfortable with it that is okay. I went away and again thought hard about what to do and came up with something I designed with alot of meaning behind it. It was ment to look realistic which Chris said he could do. Overall it was a nice experience and when I saw the finished product, it was not what I was expecting, was a more stylised cartoon than realistic but was my first tattoo and was pumped to see it. The more I pondered though I noticed that key details were missing and just didn't look or feel right. When I showed people they could not tell what it was supposed to be. It's not awful but not what I asked for or designed. I have seen other people who have had their tattoos done there and again, not awful but looks a little rough. One person even said that he had names of grandchildren put into tattoo and wanted space for the next one who was to come along, Chris ignored this and filled the space and said after "it wouldn't of looked right" I hate leaving negative feed back but this tattoo is on me now and I am slightly embarrassed about it. Chris was a lovely man and a good laugh, the experience was really nice. The feed back I would give is keep practicing and listen to what the customer actually wants and if you think it needs to be done differently then let them know Before doing it. Respect to you and the business and I wish you the best.

Chris is absolutely fantastic. He always creates exactly what I want. Plus he is super gentle too! Lovely atmosphere.
