        I started working for the home before it first opened, from domestic/ kitchen assistant, to cook, kitchen manager and now laundry, the staff are extremely dedicated to the residents and go above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy, comfortable and always go the extra mile to help them with any problems! We are supported by our manager, and residents are always put first, we have the opportunity to progress within the home and change roles to suit.

        I first came to waterfield as an agency. I did 13 weeks solid there I picked up all the shifts I was offered as I immediately clicked there with some of the staff and all of the residents. I was asked to become a full time carer there, I jumped at the chance. I took the job as the residents were well looked after. It is a family feel between the staff and the residents. Just under 5 years later and I still walk in there with a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. I would recommend anybody thinking of having the painful decision of placing a family member anywhere. Have a look at waterfield first.

        I visited Waterfield House Care Home last week and was warmly received by the home. This was part of my first week working with Runwood Homes. The Home Manager was very friendly and passionate about her team and residents. The home was well presented, homely and clean. Residents were engaged, happy and equally welcoming. I look forward to visiting again soon.

        Staffing ratio is a big issue here. At 12 pm some residents are still waiting to have their personal care. Some relatives have been paid off by Runwood Homes to remove their bad reviews from the website so you won't know what is going on there. Do some good to your loved ones, avoid this dead end.

        We supplied a case of required clothes. We went to retrieve the case full of clothes and essentials. Was given a bin liner with minimum items. Attitude was disgusting.
