Absolutely fantastic service, can't fault them. Super responsive to questions, take the time to explain things to you and even walk you through things like accountancy software. Everyone I have dealt with there is incredibly nice and professional. Absolute Gem of a firm.

I left a review back April 2014 - It appears that rather than admit wrong doings, Walter Wright decided to close their original Google Business listing and open a new one. Here we go again - I was with Walter Wright when I first went self employed, I was still working for a company and needed help to transfer from employment to self employment. At the start of the year, everything was great, I popped into the office a few times, got what I thought was good advice and I then went self employed. Fast forward a little to the end of the tax year - Most of my emails were not answered for a good two weeks, it was only when I called I then got rushed answers - My tax return was sent towards close of business on the 31st Jan, I was then told a really large amount and told I had to pay in advance etc. It was horrid but thankfully I had enough to manage. I'd also seen my monthly charges double, even though I'd moved to an online system which reduced workload by half but I was charged double for ignored emails etc. I was bounced between staff, emails ignored and it was an awful service. Shortly afterwards I left for another accountant. The new accountant found a few issues with my tax return.... One of the main things was caught by the tax man - I was still working and self employed which put me on the higher tax bracket, I got hit with another tax bill completely out of the blue... why? Because Walter Wright got my tax returns wrong. I asked them why they didn't put my employement on the tax return, bare in mind, I didn't have a clue about tax returns which is why I still use accountants now. Walter Wright denied that they knew I was working, even though we had a few meetings in between my lunch breaks... They actually denied something they 100% knew because they were helping me transfer over. So Walter Wright treated my business like it didn't matter. They made a lot of mistakes which hit my wallet in a really bad way. They were even dishonest and denied they knew nothing about my employment, even though I'd had a few meetings while on my lunch - I even have the emails with one of their accountants. Anyone is more than welcome to contact me for more information. I hope no-one else ever has the wrong information, bad paper work and rushed meetings ever happen to them. As said, I'm more than happy to prove this - lets not forget, Walter Wright have deleted their own profile and set up again just to hide my review. Ill refrain from comments about holding my paper work unless i removed this review.
