I would like to strongly recommend Trace for Dry rot removal job and remedial service. I dealt with many contractors in the past, TRACE Basement is by far the most competent & experience contractor I ever came across with. The Technicians turned up very early in the morning, very polite, professional. They worked really hard to complete the job; removal of dry rot and debris under the sub floor, cleaning up, replaced all the affected joints and flooring of the whole room over weekend. Special thanks to Rory, Artur, Mike and Ellis, excellent work!

We would wholeheartedly recommend Trace who did damp proofing work in and outside the front of our house this summer to what looks an excellent standard. We struggled to find many other damp proofing companies so the company's standards and integrity were especially appreciated in light of this. All employees were professional and friendly. Our various questions were answered willingly and the workers were more than happy to share their knowledge. We got a very in-depth report with our quote; it had very useful info on damp as well as excellent detail of the job in question so we have a fantastic record of what was done. The company even did some extra work when a potential issue was discovered midway through the work. Overall we are very pleased.

Excellent, professional service. We recommend Trace without hesitation. Trace was employed, to assess the extent of damp problems on a house we were considering purchasing. A competitor was also employed for comparison and to give confidence. Both were given identical written briefs, and both had been recommended to us. The house comprised an old farmhouse enveloped by a contemporary build and was therefore structurally, and from a damp proofing perspective, complex. Trace excelled in the professionalism of the approach, level of detail that they went into and the quality of their report. They also correctly identified multiple issues that their competitor failed to recognise (despite the competitor being more expensive). Rory, who undertook the survey and James, company Director and second-generation family owner of the business, spent additional time discussing their report and findings with us, helping us to fully understand, in a balanced manner, the extent of the issues, the limitations of their investigation (it was not intrusive), the potential future risks, and the range of likely costs of rectification. Trace was professional and charming to deal with. They exceeded expectations and left their competitor standing in terms of quality and capability.
