We are extremely pleased with the quality and specification of our new Rectory home. The fixtures and fittings are far superior to other new build properties we had seen. The location and individuality of the design of the house was an important factor in our choice of new home. We would particularly like to thank Debbie Lee, Sam Lacey and his team at Rectory Homes, who made the whole process of our purchase, from start to finish, smooth and easy. Thank you all at Rectory Homes.

08/11/22 - In response to your reply below. l didn't take up your offer to meet up with your directors, as you have had many times to put this right and l'm not prepared to waste any more of my time. Your arrogant emails from your customer services department says enough to me. You have had many chances to put things right and rectify the hot water fault that is ongoing from last year but refuse to do so. l will update this review if like others it disappears. I'm really surprised that Rectory Homes Ltd only have 26 reviews. Really disappointed in them. Poor customer service from the start of ownership. They never reply to emails or telephone calls and l find l have to always be chasing them. l've had problems with the hot water system for the first 2 years and now 4 months out of warranty with no hot yet water again they say its not down to them. They really just don't care once they have your money. l won't be buying another from them and wouldn't recommend them to others either. Roof and ridge tiles fell from the roof, 2 x warped front doors that wouldn't unlock or lock, guttering not secured properly to the garage, sharp metal spikes poking through the carpet gripper ripping my feet. (They just simply came back and hammered the sharp edges down for the fix). l was left without water last year for 2 weeks so phoned the emergency 24 hour helpline to be told by a recorded message that they were closed until the following Monday. Its a joke. Once they eventually fixed the problem the plumber forgot to turn the water back on leaving me again without water over a bank holiday period until l could get contact again. Beware

October 2022. Watch out, our neighbours hot water tank has just exploded causing significant damage to the property. History So many shoddy workmanship issues. Months pass by and still unresolved. Surely after nearly 2 years my heating should be commissioned and working (it's not). Strange how a number of rave reviews appeared soon after my first post....what a coincidence. I agreed to remove my original review n good faith to allow Rectory get a grip on the defects - they haven't. Perhaps they only care about their reputation and how that may affect their sales. Gardening is also a challenge. We have full bricks, half bricks, tarmac debris and pieces of concrete larger than a full brick immediately under the surface of the grass. Very dangerous for children to play on. Sheer negligence by the contractor and site manager. This review will be updated periodically.
