A really lovely lady who works here! She went out of her way to get my laundry pressed in no time at all because she could see I was stressed about getting something done for a wedding. My clothes look fab! I really couldnt rate them more highly! She really goes out of her way for you. Other places send things away so I love that they do everything in house. Such reasonable prices as well!

I took in a hoodie to have a new zip fitted. Went back to collect 2 weeks later and found that the 'new' zip was faulty - I pointed out how the 2 zip parts did not align properly (see first photo - the one on the left is the faulty one. The one on the right is from another identical hoodie with original zip) and that it had to be fiddled with each time to make it work. I requested that this be sorted. I went back again after another 2 weeks, only to be told that no improvement had been made. I said that I would not pay for a faulty repair. The manager (owner?) then called a family member, who claimed that it was the best repair possible. They both then became hostile, saying I should pay. The manager then said the zip should be removed and then even threatened to cut up the hoodie in front of me. I said I would film if he did this, at which point I was given it back, without paying. Appalling service, rudeness and hostility. I must add that I have been using the place for years and gladly paid for previous repairs including zips, as these were done properly. When I got home, I looked more closely and noticed that there were other faults in the work. You can see this in photos 2 and 3, compared with the original zip on an identical hoodie. Can only assume that there has been a change in management or ownership. Will NEVER use again with the current staff - there are several good quality places nearby. Service: Alterations
