I really can't rate Linden highly enough, and having a place like this as part of our family life makes us feel so supported, especially as neither my partner or I have family in London. I leave my 1 year old son with the wonderful team in the Lotus room knowing that he is being looked after by such loving and highly professional carers. They are a brilliant team who treat every baby as an individual which is just so lovely to see. We really feel like we have joined a community and are benefitting so much as a family. J is my first baby and I was quite anxious about him starting nursery but Thelma, Andrea, Jenine, Denise and Zarena settled us in so quickly and were so kind. We get loads of feedback about what he's been up to during the day and communication as a whole is great. The building is also really light and airy and just feels very welcoming and well run. I would highly recommend the free Baby Club which is run upstairs as a drop-in every week, if you're looking for a relaxed way to meet other parents. Unlike a lot of paid-for baby activities the atmosphere is just very chilled and laid back and you can just hang out with your baby and not worry about arriving on time. We love this place! Thank you Linden

Staff are so lovely and helpful! Have been to the baby clinic which is really good and look forward to going to more activities when my little one gets bigger.

We had an awful experience at Linden which resulted in my partner and I complaining to Ofsted. We became concerned about a member of staff's behaviour after she confiscated our three-year-old son's comforter (a soft toy) and told us that she would be keeping it overnight as punishment for him not listening. That same week, she also made him cry by denying him fruit at snack time because he apparently hadn't said please or thank you. After the member of staff became aware that we had reported this to her senior, the situation worsened. Our son's behaviour changed. He went from being a confident little boy to frightened and clingy. After some time he reported to us that she had told him he was 'bad' and 'plain.' She was also calling him 'ginger.' We approached the head of the centre who was unhelpful and unprofessional and seemed annoyed that the issue had added to her workload. We removed our son from the nursery and have since met other parents who'd had similar experiences with the same member of staff. Although some staff were lovely, such as Wendy, Denie and Denise (now retired), due to the staff member's behaviour and the way that the issue was handled by the head of centre, we would not recommend this nursery.

Linden children centre nursery has been a rock for me and my family. They have gone above and beyond and been helpful and supportive. Staff are your biggest asset! They care about your children and it shows.they are always caring in their approach, speaking respectfully to the child, while still keeping control of the situation - this is so hard to do with 2 children at home let alone a higher number. Every single member of staff greets you and baby in the morning when they see you no matter what their job/position. It's such a friendly place. I feel the feedback given to me by your staff is great and the daily updates at the end of each day are really good for finding out what my little one has been up to throughout the day. We are always kept informed of our child's progress and regularly invited to add our own observations and comments. I think the activities are great. He is exposed to a different range of activities than he is at home, which I think is valuable. Friendly staff, children being able to go into the garden whenever they need to, my children have both been very happy there, we felt our children were safe, everyone knows them and we all feel welcome. The friendly staff welcoming you every morning. The amount of support that Adam and mariyah had and the attention they received . Adam has come on leaps and bounds and has built a fantastic friendship group and support network where he wants to come to each and every day. The level of care and support tailored to each individual's needs. I always know my boy will be looked after to the highest standards. The learning facilities for children and open variety of opportunities for play to be a form of education for children. Thank you to all the staff there for making my kids early years such fun. Keep up the good work!
