    I had a fantastic time on this retreat. The villa was beautiful and we ate lots of lovely healthy local food. Sabrina and Victor organised a great mix of twice daily pilates classes plus running and strength classes which was pretty unique. We got to check out the beaches and sights of the Island as well. Lots of personal touches from Sabrina and Victor made this a very special holiday. Highly recommended

    Having previously had the benefit of having Sabrina as both a personal trainer and a pilates instructor, but having been unable to obtain a regular slot for training with her, I was very keen to attend Sabrina and Victor Sarramin's joint retreat in northern Lanzarote earlier this year. The retreat was the best activity based holiday I have been on due to the outstanding preparation and effort put in by Sabrina, Victor and Javi. Sabrina catered for all abilities, experience and injuries in twice daily pilates and stretching classes, tailoring activities to each individual, and providing instruction in both English and Spanish. Victor took us on daily runs where he coached us on improving our technique, and also coached us in strength and conditioning training daily. Victor commenced by assessing us all individually on a number of strength and conditioning tasks to identify the areas we each needed to improve on. Following the trip Victor also sent each of us a tailored and extremely comprehensive training plan based on the results of our tests during the trip. This has enabled me to continue to build my strength and overall fitness. Throughout the retreat, both Victor and Sabrina focused on individual needs and everyone on the trip gained a huge amount from it. I went on the trip following a major operation 6 months previously, after which I had yet not started running again. Victor and Sabrina gave me the confidence to start running again in a beautiful setting, and I have continued running ever since. In addition to the training, the accommodation was outstanding, and Sabrina, Victor and Javi arranged all meals both at the villa, and with trips to local restaurants. The freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast by the pool everyday was especially popular. Additionally, Victor who has travelled to the island a lot, planned a holiday itinerary of sightseeing for the duration of the trip, which was above and beyond anything we expected. The attention to detail and focus on providing the best experience possible for everyone was constant, while at the same time everything was done in a very relaxed way where anyone could opt out at any time should they choose. It was an outstanding team effort from Sabrina, Victor and Javi. I cannot recommend Sabrina and Victor more highly as trainers. I am looking forward to the next retreat.

    It was with a mixture of anticipation and anxiousness that I boarded the flight at Stansted wondering what I was getting myself into. I had no experience of Pilates; it had been many years since I had followed a strict exercise regime and on top of that I had put a couple of stones on that I desperately wanted to shed. I therefore hoped that this retreat would be the kick-start that I needed. The retreat started with a warm welcome at the airport followed by a hearty lunch. The timetable was generous; filled with daily early morning and evening Pilates, running, with a 1-2-1 fitness assessment and follow-up session with Victor (Personal Trainer) who gave targets for improvement. A Big breakfast as well as daily optional excursions. On the first day we were allowed some downtime before a long run up the mountain. Due to my lack of fitness, I felt unable to keep up with the others, however, Sabrina stayed with me every step of the way so that I could achieve my very best. Victor stayed with the more fit so every persons needs were met. It was hard work but when I reached the top, I felt a great sense of achievement and motivation to make the most of my retreat and hopefully take away the enthusiasm of my mentors back home with me. Sabrina and Victor created a relaxed, friendly and calm environment for everyone. Sabrina was very attentive always ensuring that our needs were met. In addition, she got up extra early to give me a 1-2-1 beginners Pilates session as I struggled in the more advance one. The retreat was great especially as we were a small intimate group of seven people and got along well. I would highly recommend Sabrina and Victor retreats to anyone who wants to recharge, get fit, enjoy amazing food and be inspired.
