We loved staying in this quirky gypsy caravan for the weekend. The kitchen shepherd hut was really cute and well equipped. The shower was great in both power & water temperature (always important!) and the hot tub was awesome! The owners were super friendly & hospitable and did everything to ensure we had the perfect stay. Will definitely be back.

Not recommend!! We rung up and asked about adding dogs and we mentioned we had chihuahuas and we booked. On arrival we were showed around which all was fine. There was no welcome hamper as stated on the website- freshly baked bread and eggs?!. Having been there for not even couple of hours one of the dogs got through the fencing which was meant to be an enclosed garden area. The fencing is like make shift picket fencing. My adult chihuahua which is 11 years old so very quiet. She could just walk through the fence & she had got out nearly onto the road and obviously was panicking calling to get her away from the road once realising she had got out. The neighbour behind then complained there was screaming at the time I did shout over and say sorry my dogs got out near the road but it didnt seem to make any difference. she has said she wasnt happy being sworn at but that isnt the whole story, I didnt just swear at her for no reason, she was shouting and me to shut up, so I explained like I had explained and she kept on so I said F**ck ***! My dog is my world and I was in a massive panic as she was near the road!! If my dog has got out near a road I will be screaming!! The underfloor heating didnt seem to do much as had to put the little electric heaters on maybe because its set and locked at a temperature? One day we went out to the shop and on coming back we notice the owner kept going back and forward looking out the Window which we found rather creepy!! The place its self is very run down and the window on the hot tub area fell out on trying to close it, it was very rusted up. The kitchen area wasnt clean and smelt mouldy, the fridge and microwave had mould in it So all in all I wouldnt recommend unfortunately, definitely can get more for the money in other places. Definitely would not want to return!! Editing my review due to comments of the owner- Issue will the hottub- when we first walked into the area there was a horrible pond like smell! The hottub had a filter but with no chemical/blocks to clean once it has been used. So no wonder it looked scummy! At no point at all there was any commit in the hottub!! There was also a sign 1 window saying please do not open as it was broken. After finishing in the hot tub for the first evening, we went to close the window and it broke/fell out of the hole into the grass. Understand no circumstances we deliberately pull the window off!! Issue with booking directly - We phoned up to ask if more than 2 dog option was ok and the owner said as they were small dogs that would be absolutely fine. And he offered the discount as we had phoned to directly and not used a third party. At no point was there a discount asked for!! The microwave had food splashed everywhere, the fridge had white mould in and smelt like off milk. And under the counter where the cutlery is was all foisty Issue with dogs- It wasnt the puppy that got out. The place is meant to be dog friendly but the fencing isnt adequate. Under no circumstances we went into the owners private garden and took things to use to barricade the fencing so the dogs wouldnt get out. We used stuff around the Ruby Rose enclosed area! Items such as the white garden table and chairs which are situated on the outside of the Ruby rose kitchen hut. Also the window that fell out the hottub hut and random door matts. We used these items to block the whole the holes in the fencing to keep our dogs safe. (see pics) The owner did say did we want him to put the hottub window Back in, but we said its ok to leave it till we have gone. He never offered to make any temp fencing so the dogs were safe. Hence why we said its ok to leave the window etc as it was in the fencing to try and attempt to keep the dogs safe. There was no need for his lies in his comments to try and make us out to be rude and disrespectful. As you can read from his first few words in his comment quoting Hayley and her girlfriend. We feel this may have a homophobic attack!
