Deservedly popular pub with good honest well priced food (recommend book ahead). Off the beaten track, but if you don't already know this pub its well worth looking out. Skittle alley is good fun for groups ( but need to book ahead)

What a lovely restraunt fantastic attentative happy staff, we had Sunday lunch the lamb dinner my wife had was fantastic she commented best lamb she has eat in years, my large four meats roast was fantastic however the pork was a bit dry and no crackling, the veg was awesome best crispy roasters ever lovely tasty peas really nice tasty carrots, nice yorkshire puds, homemade not aunt Bessie's the cauliflower cheese was fantastic absolutely awesome, the wife's apple crumble and custard however was tasteless, overall a very well deserved and respectable four stars well done we will definitely be back.

Good pub food , good range of real ales and ciders. Very Rustic !!!!! Wonderful Sunday Lunches!!!
