Femme Fatale Finishes

So glad to find Kate! She has done and excellent job repairing and finishing a wobbly old oak table for me .. and now it looks exactly as its meant to be, and, to boot, is as stable as a rock! She is charming, helpful, flexible and worked quickly so that we had our table back in no time. We are delighted with her work and can thoroughly recommend her. Look no further for repair and restoration!

10 stars! Kate sanded and finished both a wooden bedroom floor (Floorboards) and a very awkward Bannister. I couldn't be happier with the results of both. Exceptional local talent who I wouldn't hesitate to employ again due to her attention to detail, care taken over both jobs, and the amazing results. Thanks for all your hard work!

Kate took on restoring a chair and child's desk I had inherited from my Nan. She was super quick in coming back to me with a quote which included pick up and drop off. She went above and beyond by also taking the chair to an upholsterer so I could get a seat pad/cushion made, all in her own time. She was an absolute pleasure to talk to and the work she has carried out means another generation making use of something with huge sentimental value to my family. I would highly recommend Kate for any restoration work as the pieces both look fabulous and I will definitely use her expertise in the future.

Kate did such a beautiful job restoring our Edwardian walnut wardrobe. She stripped the wood and refinished it in its natural colour so that it's now possible to see all the grain of the wood. It's gorgeous and we are so pleased. Thank you so much Kate.
