First Class, personal service from Debbie and the team. Our event booking started less than 2 months before the set date of the event meaning a swift timeframe must be adhered to when booking the venue. The booking itself was for a meeting room for around 15 delegates in the centre of Oxford. I made the initial contact with FE and was assigned a point of contact on the same day (Debbie). I requested a specific venue in Oxford but later found out this venue was unable to accommodate us on the set date. I was then sent a list of information containing other possible venues which could accommodate us on this date, one of which was a meeting room in The Old Bank. After assessing the suitability of the meeting room at The Old Bank I decided to proceed with booking this venue. The booking process was very efficient with Debbie continually contacting myself to inform me of the progress of the booking. Debbie also took some annual leave during this period but always ensured she had passed the relevant details onto others in her team (Rosie) to ensure I always had a point of contact should any questions arise. After booking had been completed FE also went out of their way to honour a discounted price they had previously offered for the venue. Civils & Lintels thank them for this. On the day of the event all ran very smoothly. Debbie had passed on all the information to ensure the booking was tailored to our needs as a business. She later informed me that this was her very first event since joining the team. This came as a shock to me due to the high level of care and attention to detail was that of an experienced project executive. Overall, I would describe First Events service as professional, reliable, and personal. Debbie and team ensured all our needs were catered for. I would highly recommend this team if you / your business is thinking of running events in the future.
