Recently bought a van from Sarah at Simon Bailes Northallerton it was such a great experience the customer service was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble Sarah chased up some other bits and pieces for me. No pressure and great communication. After picking up the van a few little issues appeared this was booked in to their Guisborough branch as it was more convenient for me. Lee took care of all the issues that day. Once again fantastic friendly customer service. Communication from both dealers was really good and I was kept in the loop as to time scale etc Highly recommend both branches of Simon Bailes

Utterly disappointed with this company, and I actually used to work for them. I bought a used Peugeot from them at the end of February, and then was made to wait 15 days before collection, which is totally unacceptable, a used car should be ready to handover after 3-4 days maximum. It was agreed at point of sale that certain things required remedial action before collection. One such thing was a replacement boot luggage cover, which according to the Sales Manager (GLEN), was already on order ......yeah OK On collection 15 whole days later, I was told it still wasn't available but would be, by the following Tuesday (4 days after collection) We are now 11 days later (26 days since initial purchase) and still no luggage cover. It is worthy of note that in those 26 days, I HAVE NOT HAD ONE SINGLE PHONE CALL from ANYONE at Simon Bailes, I have had to ring 6 times, and the sales manager at Guisborough actually had the nerve to become belligerent because I kept ringing to try to find out just what the hell was going on. (not a good thing to do when you work in retail). Simon Bailes as a company, and the Sales Manager, GLEN, at Guisborough is now refusing to return my calls (the sales manager is always busy when I ring ). I've also emailed the Group General Manager 3 times, that has also fallen on deaf ears and has been totally ignored. So, here I am, almost a full month since purchase, waiting for a luggage cover that I was told would be fitted by time of delivery, and everyone running scared to speak to me and resolve the problem. It's a pity it has come to this because I expected better from a company that I once had pride in working for, no longer !!!! P.s. in my day at Simon Bailes, you were meant to ring the customer within 48hrs to check everything was OK, it's actually a Peugeot Standard, guess what ?? Nothing, ZILCH, Nada, but why should I expect anything else. *ADDENDUM; thank you to Mr Sedman (general manager) for eventually sorting out the "defective luggage cover" It shouldn't of taken you getting involved to sort it, but I am now happy with my car. Thank you
