We stopped here for lunch as we were visiting the area while on a break for Easter. The pub was quite busy and there was only one member of staff working behind the bar but she was cheerful and helpful. We ordered for the six of us and had quite a long wait (understandably, given the busy nature of the pub) but the food was enjoyed by all. We all managed to get something to eat - one vegan, one vegetarian, one meat eater and three meat-eating kids, and we all enjoyed what we got. The pub is dog-friendly in non-carpeted areas and there was plenty of room for the two dogs as well. It was reasonably priced, and if we were in the area again we would more than likely pop in. Well done to the staff member behind the bar for staying calm, helpful and professional at such a busy time. Food & drinks: A good choice for most types of customer - vegan, vegetarian, meat-eaters and gluten free diets are all catered for. Also some dishes can be made vegan. I don't think there were any vegan desserts though, but we didn't have dessert here.
