Lane End Cottage

Went last minute, (22-29/07/22), drove up not knowing what to expect. Arrived on site and was met by Debbie, both her and her husband Mike are lovely people and owners. We went into the cottage and was very pleasantly surprised how nice the whole cottage was, it was absolutely stunning inside and out. We used the cottage as a base, nearby Saltburn, Marske and Redcar all had lovely beaches which our granddaughter Harper loved. We also got to visit Staithes which is about 20 minutes drive, also got to visit the Owl Sanctuary again close by. Debbie took our granddaughter to feed her 10 sheep and also collect eggs from her chickens and ducks, which Harper loved. All in all a very pleasant holiday, stunning accommodation and location, highly recommended. Thank you Debbie and Mike for an excellent holiday.

As the cottage was already booked we have just spent three nights in the Cabin at Stone Croft. What a treat! Debbie and Michael have worked extremely hard to provide two wonderful places to stay and are committed to ensuring everything is just right. In a very tranquil setting, we had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin is extremely well appointed, with great thought having gone into providing everything you could possibly need, including a welcome pack that included freshly laid eggs from their own hens. It has stunning 180 views across the Cleveland hills and towards the sea- a wonderful place to relax of an evening and to watch the rare breed sheep and Clippy the pony in the fields, or the hares bounding along , the swallows resting nearby ...and the possibility of a sighting of the barn owl... and just a 2 minute drive into Saltburn or even a quieter Marske , perfect for lovely beach walks . Debbie and Michael are very knowledgeable of the local area and can recommend walks, restaurants, and even those elusive places to park for free! Give it a try.... you will be sure to return... as will we .

Spacious, newly-converted characterful farm building with log burner and fresh farm eggs! Exceptionally comfortable master bed, luxurious bath, large showers and great kitchen. Relaxing outdoor space to enjoy a meal or a morning coffee. Plenty of space to walk our dog. Great location to head to the beach or to the moors. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. As a family with young children and a dog we can't wait to come back!
