Good shop, like an Aladdins Cave, allsorrs from country clothing to DIY, household goods, gardening, you name it. Their Ryedale own brand voluntary clothing is very good too.

I was at the till paying for my goods when my 8 year old daughter spotted snaps she said mam can we get some snaps for Izzy( my neice ) I said yes, I then asked for 2 boxes of snaps to be spoken to like a child and loud enough so all could here and told no, I'm not serving you with them they come under the fireworks regulation and there age restricted, I said I'm 47 I'm old enough to buy them, she replied I'm not selling them to you because your giving them to her( my daughter) and she's not old enough so the answer is no, I was so embarrassed I was gob smacked didn't know what else to say, if the assistant had bothered to listen to what my daughter had said she would of heard they were for my neice but then again even if they were for my daughter that's my choice in what i do with anything I purchase I shouldn't have to explain myself to anybody,and there certainly was no need for the way I was spoken too at all, customer service in this shop absolutely none
