Amazing cornflake tart cookie dough actually bought a couple months ago from a farmers market but still think about it now really need to visit the shop in Guisborough!

I popped into Maple & Dough after eating at the Fox Inn over the road - we aren't from the area but were on holiday. When I saw this shop through the window of the pub I knew I had to try it - vegan, dairy free, dog friendly, cookies, coffee etc. My perfect place. I bought five of the cookies (like others have said, it's very cookie-doughy, so may not be for everyone), a tea and a coffee. Coffee was great, tea (with oat milk) was enjoyed by my non-vegan but vegetarian partner. Unfortunately (or fortunately, in my case) a couple of the cookies were too sweet for a couple of the people I'd bought them for so that meant all the more for me. I've just polished off a Nutella one for breakfast and there's an Oreo one waiting for later. The others we had and enjoyed were a raspberry sprinkle kind of thing, a trillionaire's and a hot cross bun one. The hot cross bun one was sooooooo sweet but very tasty. The guy who served me was very nice and we also discussed the Metallica cover of Nothing Else Matters that was playing in the shop, who I was told was by Chris Stapleton, who I shall be checking out! Thanks! Even though I live just over 70 miles away I may well be back one day for more! An awesome spot, well done guys.
