We came to Abacus to record an acoustic and vocals piece to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Neville partnered with us in the creative process, and the results were beyond our expectations. Nev is knowledgeable and works efficiently to help you get the most out of your recording time. His software and his technical skill provide the best results. The best part though, is he creates a positive environment that helped us perform at our best. No stress, no fuss. We were lucky to be able to use Abacus's newly-created sound room. The sound proofing is complete and the setup is convenient. No ambient sounds leaking in whatsoever. Neville is passionate about what he does, and it comes out in how he works! He's got great sensibilities and his enthusiasm for his craft is infectious. I'd recommend Abacus to artists of all skill ranges.

Ive known Neville Dean for decades, and worked with him in bands and at his recording studios. Nev is a great musician, a skilled engineer and has great production values. The studio is very well equipped, but extraordinarily isolated sonically. Remarkable attention to detail in construction from this point, and critically important for projects where S/N and particularly environmental noise might be an issue. I recommend Nev wholeheartedly for his skills and for the studio, and he is truly one of the nicest people youll ever meet.

Our band met at Abacus for the first time. The space at the studio was ideal in providing for what we needed. The sound is great and the people that run it were friendly and helpful. Nev spoke to me about doing some one to one lessons for bass guitar and I intend to do this. I look forward to my next visit to Abacus.
