When my eldest daughter went there it was a good daycare, so when my youngest son turned one year old, we did not hesitate to enroll him in "Positive Steps". From the beginning he did not look happy there, but when I asked the key worker and staff, they assured me that as soon as I was gone he stopped crying. In the parents evening we were told, that everything was fine and that he had a lot of fun being there and that he ate everything they gave him, but coincidentally the day after going to "positive steps" he did not have a single solid nappy during the day. After a few months without telling us a thing , they changed the name to "Busy Bees", just from one week to the next one it had another name and although the majority of the staff was the same, things got worse, Twice I arrived and my son was very dirty, unattended and thirsty . We decided to give notice and take him out, and request his folder. Which is totally unacceptable, There is not a single positive comment about my son, on each sheet they just wrote a line with a negative comment about him, like he does not integrate, he doesn't play with anyone, he does not know how to follow instructions, he doesn' t understand ... For months I worry a lot, I even saw heath visitors because for all the comments and pictures of my son so sad in the folder, I even got to think that he could have some autism. Now he is in another nursery, very happy fully attended, adapted from the beginning. The truth is that I feel robbed by "Positve Steps" we pay so much for so long and the results are terrible, but my real concern is the psychological damage that can cause to a child and his family is general with their comments and unprofessionalism.
