I cannot recommend Mr Modi highly enough. He is very friendly, thorough and professional. Nothing is to much trouble for him. All the care I received before, during and after my surgery was amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.

Mr Modi has been brilliant at explaining and performing cataract surgery on both my eyes with a YAG laser treatment on my right eye to get a bit more improvement. Net result was that I do not need glasses for driving (having been near the limit before surgery even with glasses). He has also recently corrected a Ptosis (droopy eyelid) which was starting to cover my iris and reduce my field of vision. I was concerned about the surgery but Mr Modi explained everything and after removing the bandage after 24 hours I was amazed at the improvement not only to my sight but also to how my eye felt and looked (just like the other eye !). I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Modi.

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Neil Modi at Mount Alvernia Hospital. I could not recommend Mr Modi or his team more highly. Despite some complicating factors (previous Lasik and floppy iris) the operation was most successful and my vision greatly improved. The follow-up care was far more thorough, and the interest more genuine, than any I have received in other private procedures. Mr Modi is an outstanding consultant in my view.

Before seeing Mr Modi I read his reviews. I can only agree with them that he is a courteous, patient and thorough man who is an excellent ophthalmic consultant who performed my double cataract procedure with no pain or after effects.He was ably assisted by the staff at Mount Alvernia.I will have no hesitation in recommending him in the future.
