Had my right eye cataract removed and replaced the Lens with a long mono vision lens! My eye is now worse than before, blurred at all distances so not impressed as was told I would be able to see after arms length but cant see sharply at any length! Done under NHS which I appreciate but NOT successful as quoted! Now have to have new prescription glasses for all near and far! Please consider the risks before getting done as obviously not as successful as they will tell you

My assessment appointment was great, the doctor was nice and explained all options. However, dealing with reception after wasn't as smooth, the number they give you is just a central line so not a direct number to your chosen clinic and speaking to someone is not the easiest task. Regardless once I managed to book my surgery at Marylebone, the staff and nurses there were very nice and my lasik went ahead very smoothly, now 4 days after I have had absolutely zero pain, just a very slight discomfort on day 1. However, post op care is a joke. I had to miss my 6 months follow up, no one seems to care and nobody contacted me to reschedule. Now I am having issues and pain on my eyes called for an emergency visit and they told me first available is in 3 weeks.

I had laser eye surgery earlier today for posterior capsular capacity following cataract surgery 15 years ago. I cant recommend this organisation more highly. The staff are really lovely, attentive and timely.. The treatment was amazing, over in just a couple of minutes and, now that the pupil dilation has worn off, I can see really well better than Ive seen for a long time. Thank you Optegra

I recently had Refractive Lens Exchange surgery with optimum results. Mr Alex Shortt & his team were so efficient & reassuring, I was put at ease from first consultation. Although initially very nervous, post-op realised nothing to be nervous about. The whole process was quick & absolutely painless. So good to not now need specs at all. My only regret - not having it done sooner!
