UPDATE : sadly tried to rebook with the same stylist a month later and hes gone! So - so disappointing as this is such a great cut but needs regular cutting - now what??????? //- Went from long lockdown mess to this - the best haircut I have ever had. I feel like a new woman. I went into the salon for a consultation ahead of deciding what I needed to book in for. Upon walking into reception, two employees were sat behind the desk talking, and looked up at me as though I was interrupting. No hello or greeting. I then waited ten minutes for the colourist (Adam) to see me, who was unwelcoming and cold. Again, no hello, just a hand gesture over to the chair he wanted me to sit in. A quick chat about the colour I was hoping for and that was it. No suggestions, recommendations or advice, and generally stand offish overall. Next, Brandon came over to discuss cut. He first asked me who last cut my hair - did you cut it or a friend or something he asked. I said no a stylist in Guildford, I replied. He then went on to suggest it was a truly terrible hair cut and the ends of my hair looked like an old paintbrush. He talked for a long time about what he wanted to do with my hair, without asking me if I had any preferences. I then showed him a picture of what I was hoping for, he frowned at me and said well if thats what you want I can do that, as if it wasnt nice or stylish. It was honestly a terrible experience and I was made to feel so insecure and small. Finally, I asked whether they were still doing 30% off your first visit. I got a quick snarl, and was laughed at and told you can have it off your cut but Im not doing it on your colour. Slightly odd, considering if you book online its 30% off everything. Overall, unpleasant and unfriendly. Would not recommend.
