Flair Gymnastics : Surrey Sports Park

My 7 yr old daughter loves going to Flair at SSP . For us its the perfect gymnastics class , not pushy or competitive. Staff are really friendly and take the time to get to know the children individually.

Great gym club. Love how everything they do is so focused on building the kids confidence and getting them to progress.

My daughter was a member at Flair Gymnastics at the Surrey Sports Park for about 1 year. The positives are it is a great venue and the teachers are kind, considerate and attentive. However, I took her out for 2 reasons. Firstly, the frequency of events held at the sports park which resulted in her class being cancelled. I thought in such cases that these lessons would be accrued as you still pay for them. That is not the case, they only accrue a missed lesson if UK Flair cancel it but not if it is the venue. I estimated about every 1 in 5 lessons wasn't run. You also have 2 months notice which is excessive and about 80 and are expected to buy the badges which are about 6 each. Secondly, as a parent you cannot stay and watch. When I did get there early to pick up, I was saddened to see that she spent most of her time lined up looking bored and cold waiting for a go on what is basically big soft play equipment. She is now a member of the Gymnastics Factory instead. Within 2 weeks she was performing perfect cartwheels, swinging from the bars and exercising in constant rotation. Flair appears to be a very effective commercial business but it is not one I would recommend for gymnastics tuition.
