Very disappointed I haven't been able to get an NHS appointment in 2 years. They tell me it's the same for all dentists yet my sister has been twice to her NHS dentist for checkups within that same period. I've now list a filling and I'm waiting to get that fixed. Disappointed

Always pleased with treatment etc. disappointed to hear the practice is closing and there was no communication to this affect and no idea how to get notes to share with a new dentist.

I have been a NHS patient of this practice since 1995. I have always had outstanding service from Mr Stuart Galvin and his team. During those, nearly 30, years, I have moved my home nationally and internationally. I have never moved my dental practice though. Wherever I have lived, I have always been back to Galvins Dental Practice, for my 6 monthly checkups and any work that needed doing. If someone, (Stuart Galvin), can remove your wisdom teeth, whilst you are, conscious, and you are then actually well enough to head back to work, with no bruising or swelling, he has my vote.

Dentist care is exceptional, however the experience i have had with the receptionists attitude towards disabilities was unacceptable, my mother is autistic and exempt from wearing a face covering and the receptionist rolled her eyes at this and later had someone come to her and offer her a mask again knowing that she was exempt. The attitude despite being in a health care environment towards my mothers autism was out of order.

Doctor Galvin is brilliant BUT his receptionist shouldnt take her bad day out on other people. I have been with Dr Galvin since I was born. I am sad to see his practice go but for the rude receptionist I couldnt care less & its very sad that the call I received from her was my finally experience after 31 years.
