The Bike Project (Guildford) is a brilliant place to buy second hand bikes in good working order or get your own bikes serviced for a reasonable price. You can also donate bikes for charity. They will repair them and sell them on, all for a good cause. The staff are very knowledgeable and super helpful and they also take on apprentices to teach them how to fix bikes. Overall, a brilliant and useful community project. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

What a find! Highly recommend Bike Project to anyone looking for a sensibly priced, roadworthy secondhand bike (and also to anyone looking to donate a bike - no scrap though as that just costs them money to get rid of!). I've just bought a mountain bike to replace my son's bike which was stolen last week. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a good selection of bikes of all types and sizes - my son is over the moon as I've just sent him a photo of his "new" bike.

Friendly mechanics, superior service to Halford etc for older bikes! It's a no brainer.

Went in today to buy a used bike. Little tricky to find the place as the postcode on the website takes you to a dead-end. Managed to finally get there. Was dealt by a knowledge chap called Andrew. He explained and showed me several bikes that fitted my budget. Did a test ride and bought it. He also helped me fit the lock holder on the bike. Thanks Andrew
