Evans Cycles

Purchased an expensive gravel bike from Evans online. Paid for next day delivery, bike turned up about 4 days later despite paying extra for next day delivery. The bike arrived and the gears were snapped off from the bike making it useless. Trying to contact Evans via email, social media or phone number is pointless. The level of customer service is non existent and people you speak to are clueless. For example when I first spoke to them via live chat there was NO APOLOGIES whatsoever for the damaged bike. Thankfully they arranged a collection for a refund. The bike has now gone missing between the return and sorting at the warehouse. It's now been over 14 days since the bike was collected. God knows where my refund is. Avoid this shambles of a company and if you have issues do a chargeback

Worst customer service I have ever had in a specialised store. Was recommended Evans Cycles by three people who had used the Havant store. As the Havant store is no longer there we travelled to Guildford. I was told that Evans was filled with people who would be able to size me for a suitable bike, help me with what bike suits my needs and point me in the right direction. The woman who helped me told me she only knew about road bikes and didn't offer to find anyone else to help me. She told me she didn't know about sizing me for one either. I left the store after 30 minutes, even more confused and very deflated. I drove to 99 Bikes in Chichester and had the best customer experience I have had. What a contrast. I will be going to 99 Bikes from now on and steering well clear of Evans.

We bought a bike recently. Its great store overall. The manager at workshop was helpful. Reason not 5 star is one member of the staff was not very professional and I have call the manager to deconflict. But overall cant complain

Fantastic service from Monty when looking at bike options for my family. Ended up buying a 24childrens bike and a few accessories.
